Rocket to accelerate development + support of DB2 tools on z Systems
Rocket Software has announced that they are expanding the scope of their relationship with IBM to include additional IBM DB2 tools on IBM z Systems. Rocket has been a significant contributor to the IBM DB2 Tools portfolio for over a decade, and has worked closely with IBM and its partners and clients. Rocket will be adding engineering resources in China, Germany, Denmark, Belarus and Silicon Valley as a result of this expanded relationship.
“This is the next step in our relationship with IBM,” said Rocket Software CEO Andy Youniss. “DB2 tools play a critical role in helping thousands of organizations around the world manage, administer, monitor, protect, and get more business value out of their critical data. We are fully committed to listening to and innovating for IBM clients on these important platforms—DB2 and z Systems.”
“Rocket has been a business and development partner for IBM for over two decades, and together we are committed to helping our clients get even more value out of their investments in DB2,” said Rob Thomas, Vice President, Products, IBM Analytics.
Rocket is a Marquee Sponsor of the IBM World of Watson 2016 conference in Las Vegas, October 24-27 and will be demonstrating new DB2 products there.
